As a key member of our operations team, you'll be responsible for a wide range of tasks, including data entry, customer service, and administrative support. If you're a highly organized, detail-oriented, and customer-focused individual with a passion for data entry and customer service, we want to hear from you! **Key Responsibilities** As a Data Entry Clerk and Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for the following key tasks: * **Data Entry**: Enter data into QuickBooks, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, and sales data. * **Customer Service**: Provide exceptional customer service to our clients, including responding to emails, phone calls, and in-person inquiries. * **Administrative Support**: Assist with a wide range of administrative tasks, including writing and distributing emails, correspondence memos, letters, faxes, and forms. * **Inventory Management**: Keep track of office supplies and research new deals and suppliers to ensure we're always stocked and ready to go. * **Credit Card Expense Reports**: Submit and reconcile credit card expense reports to ensure accurate and timely payment. * **Accounts Receivable and Payable**: Enter and reconcile accounts receivable and payable data into QuickBooks to ensure accurate and timely payment. * **Tip Pool Logs and Disbursements**: Track and maintain all tip pool logs and disbursements, including catering, take-out, and kitchen tip pool. * **Daily Sales Reconciliation**: Reconcile daily sales data to ensure accuracy and timeliness. * **Cash Handling**: Handle cash transactions with accuracy and attention to detail. * **Credit Memos and Claims**: Track and process credit memos from vendors and corresponding claims. * **Confidentiality**: Handle sensitive information in a confidential manner. * **Assist with Take Out Orders and Catering Calls**: Assist with take-out orders and catering calls as needed. * **Restaurant Support**: Assist with restaurant operations, including catering prep and other tasks as needed. * **Catering Desk Support**: Assist the catering desk as needed. * **Controller Support**: Assist the controller with tasks and projects as needed. **Essential Qualifications** To be successful in this role, you'll need to possess the following essential qualifications: * **High School Diploma or Equivalent**: A high school diploma or equivalent is required. * **Data Entry Experience**: At least 1 year of data entry experience, preferably in a QuickBooks environment. * **Customer Service Experience**: At least 1 year of customer service experience, preferably in a fast-paced environment. * **Administrative Experience**: At least 1 year of administrative experience, preferably in a office setting. * **Communication Skills**: Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. * **Organizational Skills**: Highly organized and able to prioritize tasks effectively. * **Attention to Detail**: Highly detail-oriented and able to maintain accuracy in data entry and other tasks. * **Confidentiality**: Able to handle sensitive information in a confidential manner. **Preferred Qualifications** While the following qualifications are not required, they're highly desirable: * **QuickBooks Certification**: QuickBooks certification is a plus. * **Customer Service Certification**: Customer service certification is a plus. * **Administrative Certification**: Administrative certification is a plus. * **Experience with Inventory Management**: Experience with inventory management is a plus. * **Experience with Cash Handling**: Experience with cash handling is a plus. **Skills and Competencies** To be successful in this role, you'll need to possess the following skills and competencies: * **Data Entry Skills**: Highly skilled in data entry, including accuracy and speed. * **Customer Service Skills**: Excellent customer service skills, including communication, empathy, and problem-solving. * **Administrative Skills**: Highly skilled in administrative tasks, including writing, typing, and organization. * **Inventory Management Skills**: Experience with inventory management, including tracking and ordering supplies. * **Cash Handling Skills**: Experience with cash handling, including accuracy and attention to detail. * **Communication Skills**: Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. * **Teamwork Skills**: Ability to work effectively as part of a team. * **Adaptability**: Ability to adapt to changing priorities and tasks. * **Time Management**: Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks. **Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits** At arenaflex, we're committed to helping our employees grow and develop their careers.
