**Job Summary**
As a Quality Control Standards Data Analyst, you'll play a critical role in driving a culture of safety, efficiency, and innovation within our Quality Control division. You'll work closely with our team to identify trends and performance metrics, analyze data, and develop recommendations for process improvements. Your expertise will help us achieve our goals of maintaining low costs, modernizing our operations, and improving compliance, ultimately giving us a competitive edge in the industry.
**Responsibilities and Expectations**
As a Quality Control Standards Data Analyst, your responsibilities will include:
* Performing and assisting others in the Quality Control group in ideal data collection, validation, and root cause analysis on data components.
* Helping to create and present results from complex data and analysis for both technical and non-technical clients and leaders.
* Assisting with exploring ad-hoc requests resulting from emerging maintenance issues and providing logical answers to enable Senior Leadership to make business decisions while adjusting existing project responsibilities.
* Presenting insights, trends, and potential recommendations by using data visualization tools supporting the relevant marks of the investigation to ease partner understanding.
* Helping to create and disseminate specific queries to pull and coordinate data from various sources, establishing the rhythm, and approving the need of the data requirements.
* Identifying irregularities in processes through reviews/audits and conveying findings to the team.
* Assessing the effectiveness of processes and methods by observing for patterns and errors.
* Ensuring that a compliance mindset is at the forefront of every decision.
* May perform other work duties as directed by Group Leader.
**Requirements and Qualifications**
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
* A bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as data analysis, statistics, or business administration.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to collect, organize, and analyze large datasets with precision and accuracy.
* Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas and results to both technical and non-technical audiences.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with a strong understanding of data visualization tools and technologies, such as Tableau, Alteryx, and QuickBase.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a focus on delivering high-quality results and meeting deadlines.
* Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
* Ability to plan and support large business initiatives.
**Preferred Qualifications**
* Past internship, capstone project, or research experience in a related field.
* Familiarity with data visualization tools and technologies, such as Tableau, Alteryx, and QuickBase.
* Experience working in a team-based environment, with a focus on collaboration and communication.
* Strong understanding of business principles and operations, with the ability to analyze and interpret data to inform business decisions.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on delivering results and meeting deadlines.
