**Responsibilities**
As a Ticket/Gate Agent, you'll be responsible for:
* Managing the check-in and boarding processes, ensuring seamless transitions and minimizing wait times for our passengers.
* Making gate announcements and verifying customers' travel documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance.
* Handling baggage, including lifting and tagging, with some bags weighing up to 70 pounds.
* Operating loading bridges and opening, closing, and securing aircraft doors.
* Escorting unaccompanied minors and passengers with disabilities throughout the airport, providing personalized support and care.
* Prioritizing safety and security, adhering to arenaflex's strict protocols and guidelines.
**Requirements**
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
* A high school diploma, GED, or high school equivalency.
* Be at least 18 years of age and authorized to work in the United States.
* Proficiency in English with strong verbal and written communication skills.
* Basic digital literacy, including familiarity with airport systems and technology.
* Pass a physical ability test (PAT) and a Customer Service Assessment.
* Ability to hold airport-specific requirements, such as a SIDA Badge and Customs Seal.
**Nice-to-Haves**
While not required, the following skills and qualifications are highly desirable:
* Previous experience in customer service, hospitality, or a related field.
* Familiarity with airport operations and procedures.
