Graphic Designer/Communications Specialist

Brown & Brown is seeking Graphic Designer / Communications Specialist to join our growing team in Minneapolis, MN!   The Graphic Designer/Communication Specialist will design and produce clear, engaging print and digital materials that help organizations communicate benefit options to their employees. Our work spans long‑form guides, employee-facing campaigns, light-moderate motion graphics, and digital tools.   How You Will Contribute:  Design, brand, and update client benefit guides and open enrollment materials Layout short‑ and long‑form collateral for print and digital use, including booklets, postcards, flyers, posters, and PDFs Apply and adapt client branding across a wide range of deliverables Animate open enrollment videos and create branded PowerPoint presentations Build and edit mobile benefits applications Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and quality standards Collaborate with internal account teams and reviewers to ensure accuracy and consistency Skills & Experience to be Successful: Degree or certification in Graphic Design, Layout Design, or a related field Portfolio demonstrating strong layout design skills across multi‑page documents, digital assets, and light motion graphics Strong understanding of typography, hierarchy, layout, spacing, and visual style High level of proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office (especially InDesign, Illustrator, After Effects, and PowerPoint) Experience applying established brand standards to both print and digital materials Comfort working across both template‑based and custom design projects Excellent attention to detail, including grammar, spelling, and visual consistency Strong organizational and time‑management skills in a fast‑paced environment Ability to leverage AI tools responsibly to improve efficiency and quality of work Willingness to learn new tools, programs, and techniques, and openness to feedback in a collaborative team environment Experience in healthcare, insurance, or regulated industries (preferred) Experience with WordPress or other website builders (preferred) Spanish language proficiency (preferred) #LI-DA1 Pay Range $26.44 - $31.25 Hourly The pay range provided above is made in good faith and based on our lowest and highest annual salary or hourly rate paid for the role and takes into account years of experience required, geography, and/or budget for the role.
