Intern Social Media Manager - Podcast Company

ElectraCast Media LLC, a new podcasting media company, is seeking a talented Social Media Management intern to support our marketing team for three months starting the last week of April. We are looking for someone who has professionalism and is detail oriented. The ideal candidate is passionate about the entertainment industry and is willing to work to meet deadlines. In return, interns will receive real world entertainment experience and the chance to build legitimate employment credit with a fast growing media company in the podcast industry. This position is a non-paid internship for school credit only, which you will receive for the duration of your commitment. We also provide a letter of recommendation after the end of your term. This is a remote part-time position that will require 10-20 hours/week. It reports directly to the CEO. Main Duties: • Planning and scheduling of social media posts. • Managing a remote team of graphic designers. • Writing captions with appropriate hashtags and @mentions. • Coming up with ideas for posts, both individual and series. • Strategy for growing followers, likes, comments and shares. Interested candidates should attach their resume and any samples of their work. Requirements: • Be 18+ years old and legal to work in USA. • Currently enrolled in an accredited college/university and be able to use the internship credits toward your program (online enrollment OK!) Internship is geared toward students who are majoring in Marketing, Business, Communications, Graphic Design, or other related fields • 2 years minimum Social Media Marketing experience or education. • Proficiency in social media platforms including but not limited to Instagram, Facebook, X (Twitter) • Team management capabilities. • Copywriting capabilities. • Social media idea-generation capabilities. • Can-do entrepreneurial attitude. • Experience with Hootsuite and Asana a plus. • Love of podcasts a plus. • ElectraCast's Mission Statement: "To build community and amplify diverse voices through compelling entertainment and story."
