Technical PM SAP e-invoicing XML Spanish speaking remote 7+months

Consulting through CandorGrp ,to serve our international B2B client. Contract will start in next 3 weeks and runs through end of year 2026, with options to continue on a second project past December. Remote work primarily in the East Coast time zone. Working from your U.S. or Latin America Location , CST or EST timezone. Some travel to Wilmington Delaware may be needed with advanced notice and planning. (2-3 times within the length of contract, expenses paid) The Technical Project Manager will lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of SAP-based e-invoicing solutions across the LATAM region. He / she will be responsible for ensuring that all digital invoice outputs (XML/EDI) comply with country-specific governmental mandates while managing cross-functional teams in SAP OTC, Finance, and Global Tax. Fluent in English and Spanish is required. Native Spanish speaking preferred. The position requires strong planning, scheduling, and execution capabilities, along with the ability to navigate a fast-paced environment while maintaining clarity, transparency, and steady leadership. As part of the Project Management Office, this role follows established PMO processes to ensure consistent project reporting, quality, and governance. Regular collaboration with the Business Process Management team is required for resource alignment, prioritization, and execution. The ideal candidate thrives as an individual contributor who can lead global teams while communicating effectively with both technical and non-technical groups. Key Skills Required: • Technical Solution Delivery • XML Mapping & Integration: Oversee the mapping of SAP header and item-level data into global XML standards, working with internal and external subject matter experts. • Logic Definition: Ensure developers define logic for Function Modules and Text ID retrieval to ensure accurate data extraction. • Regulatory & Tax Compliance • VAT Accuracy: Ensure tax code tables are synchronized across environments and align with regional VAT laws. • E-Invoicing Portals: Coordinate the configuration of governmental e-invoicing tables and connection protocols for multiple European jurisdictions. • Exclusion Logic: Ensure item category exclusion/inclusion rules are defined and maintained for specific invoice types (CCT/CCV). • Project Leadership & Stakeholder Management • Global Coordination: Lead project workstreams across LATAM ensuring alignment between GSS, regional business leads, and external vendors. • Testing Oversight: Orchestrate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and regression testing, ensuring clean data loads in refreshed Quality environments. Required Qualifications • SAP Expertise: Knowledge of SAP Order-to-Cash and FI Finance with Minimum 5 years of Experience • Technical Proficiency: Proficient understanding of ABAP (Function Modules, Tables), EDI/XML structures, & technical mapping logic. • E-Invoicing Experience: Proven track record of implementing digital invoicing solutions in high-compliance markets. • Project Management: PMP or Prince2 certification, with experience managing major projects and vendor SOWs. • Communication: Ability to translate highly technical SAP logic into clear business impact for stakeholders & executive leadership. Key Accountabilities: Project Management, Reporting and Budget Management: • Lead assigned projects aligned with business goals, ensuring timely and effective delivery. • Facilitate development of business cases and charters, and oversee project execution from initiation to close. • Provide regular status updates to project stakeholders, including PMO leadership, VP PMO, and the CIO through bi-weekly reports and Steering Committee updates. • Manage stakeholder expectations through clear, concise communication and professional presentations. • Partner with PMO leaders to report schedule or budget impacts, change requests, and key business decisions. Project Stakeholder Management • Drive results in partnership with business stakeholders, identifying innovative ways to achieve benefits quickly. • Analyze issues rapidly and guide teams in developing mitigation strategies. • Collaborate effectively with diverse technical and non-technical team members to achieve project objectives. • Leverage strong interpersonal and leadership skills to influence, negotiate, and build high-performing teams. • Utilize strong planning capabilities and experience with Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, and KeyedIn (training provided).
