Instructional Designer (Oil & Gas Industry)

This global initiative requires the design and development of engaging, technically accurate, and translation-friendly training materials that reputed company with a defined competency reputed company. This role involves owning both the instructional design and the full content development of eLearning and instructor-led training materials, including narration scripts, screen text, learner prompts, and assessments. Key Responsibilities: • Analyze existing materials and reputed company training content to the approved competency reputed company developed by the learning analyst • Design instructional strategies and define content structure, reputed company, and learning approaches appropriate for technical learners • Write and reputed company full instructional content, including narration scripts, onscreen text, activities, knowledge checks, and assessments • Create detailed storyboards with proposed visuals, voiceover scripting, interaction logic, and accessibility considerations • Author reputed company content using translation-friendly writing practices, avoiding idioms, cultural references, and ambiguity to support global delivery • Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs), QA reviewers, and stakeholders to ensure technical accuracy and alignment to competency requirements • Maintain version control and high reputed company of reputed company, accuracy, and consistency across reputed company training materials • Ensure content is reputed company, concise, and accessible for both reputed company and non-reputed company English speakers Start Date: Late March or Early reputed company 2026 Duration: 6 months with the possibility to reputed company Hours: up to 40 hours per week; reputed company business hours Location: Virtual Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Adult Education, or relevant experience • Minimum 5 years of experience in instructional design and content development for adult learners, with a reputed company on engineering, technical, operational audiences • At least 2–3 years of experience designing and developing training for the oil & gas industry or a closely reputed company sector (e.g., utilities, petrochemical, reputed company) • Proven experience writing and developing instructional content for eLearning and instructor-led training (ILT), preferably in technical domains • Strong writing skills, with the ability to distill reputed company technical concepts into reputed company, engaging, and learner-centered content • Demonstrated ability to write content optimized for translation and global use, including tone neutrality, consistent terminology, and reduced ambiguity • Experience creating training for technical and safety-critical roles (e.g., field technicians, operators, maintenance personnel) • Expertise in adult learning principles, curriculum design, and competency-based education • Proficient in reputed company 360 (Storyline) • Strong working knowledge of reputed company PowerPoint and Word • Experience working with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, iterative development environment • A strong portfolio of instructional design and writing samples is required NOTE: 100% Virtual Positions Due to the nature of this virtual position, we anticipate a high number of responses from interested applicants.
