Account Lead (Embedded Marketing Director- Sports Attraction)

Overview We’re building a dedicated marketing team for a major sports-based attraction. This role is a full-time position within our company, embedded day-to-day with one client and fully focused on launching and growing their business. This is not a traditional agency role. You will operate as an extension of the client’s internal team, with real ownership over strategy, creative, and performance. The Opportunity You’ll play a central role in launching a new sports attraction and building the marketing engine that powers it. This includes initial launch, ongoing operations, and future expansions including touring experiences and additional installations. What You’ll Own You are responsible for building and leading the marketing function, connecting strategy to execution, and ensuring the business hits its goals. • Own the overall marketing strategy, with a clear focus on driving ticket sales and attendance • Act as the day-to-day marketing lead for the client, guiding priorities and decision-making • Translate business goals into actionable marketing plans across channels • Lead integrated campaigns across media, creative, social, partnerships, and CRM • Partner closely with embedded creative/social lead to ensure strong, cohesive execution • Identify opportunities to grow the business, from new audiences to new revenue streams • Manage timelines, budgets, and priorities to keep work moving and aligned to impact • Analyze performance across channels and continuously optimize toward results • Lead key moments including launch, on-sale, and major promotional pushes • Build strong relationships with client stakeholders, operators, and partners How This Role Works • You are a full-time employee of our company, dedicated to a single client • You will be highly integrated with the client’s team and day-to-day operations • You will not follow a traditional agency structure or juggle multiple accounts • Success in this role is measured by business impact, not just output • You are expected to lead, not wait for direction What We’re Looking For • Experience leading marketing for a live experience, attraction, sports, or entertainment brand • Strong understanding of how to drive demand and convert interest into ticket sales • Ability to connect strategy, creative, and media into a single, focused plan • Comfortable operating in a fast-moving, build-as-you-go environment • Strong communicator who can influence stakeholders and drive alignment • Highly accountable, with a bias toward action and ownership We offer a competitive base salary and a range of benefits and perks: • Salary: $105,000 per year • Health care plan (medical, dental, and vision) • Retirement plan with employer match • Life and disability insurance • Generous paid time off package that includes vacation, sick, “life happens” days, birthdays, summer Fridays and public holidays • Paid family leave • Cold brew coffee, snacks and fresh fruit • Wellness resources • Special access to New York City’s arts and entertainment scene We have been honored for our commitment to our team with workplace awards from Crain’s, Best Companies Group, Cynopsis, Digiday, and Fortune.
