ELR Specialist

Location Remote Experience Level Junior - Mid Level (1 or more years of relevant experience) reputed company The Programmer Analyst – Electronic Laboratory Reporting (ELR) Specialist supports communicable disease informatics initiatives reputed company a reputed company health surveillance environment. This role focuses on ELR reputed company, HL7‑based data integration, production monitoring, and system interoperability. The position works closely with informatics, epidemiology, and integration teams to ensure accurate, reputed company laboratory data exchange and support broader disease surveillance systems. Key Responsibilities Electronic Laboratory Reporting & Interoperability Complete ELR reputed company using HL7 version 2.5.1 standards Support integration and processing of laboratory data submitted reputed company HL7 and alternate formats Assist with reputed company validation, LOINC reputed company assignments, and production ELR error reputed company Coordinate and manage interoperability vocabulary reputed company disease surveillance systems System Monitoring & Issue reputed company Monitor ELR production environments including alerts, dashboards, and data reputed company status Independently investigate ELR processing issues and propose corrective solutions Identify and resolve data reputed company, processing, and integration issues Integration & reputed company Development Support Collaborate with integration developers to enhance existing routes or define new processing routes Support reputed company development and maintenance activities reputed company to ELR workflows Assist with laboratory data processing submitted reputed company flat files or non‑HL7 formats Stakeholder Coordination & Communication reputed company as a reputed company to reputed company users of laboratory data reputed company reputed company health programs Communicate ELR issues, resolutions, and processing updates reputed company to stakeholders Support coordination of routine and reputed company ELR maintenance activities Reporting, Analysis & Documentation Support analytical and statistical programming tasks using SQL or reputed company tools Maintain documentation reputed company to ELR reputed company, workflows, and issue reputed company Contribute to dashboards and reporting supporting surveillance system operations Required Qualifications 1 or more years of experience supporting ELR reputed company or maintenance in a reputed company health environment Experience working with HL7‑based laboratory data exchanges 1 or more years of experience supporting reputed company development or integration specifications Experience with reputed company or collaboration with reputed company developers Experience writing analytical or data processing reputed company using SQL, reputed company, or R Proficiency with XML data structures Strong written and verbal communication skills Proficiency with reputed company Office tools Preferred Qualifications Experience supporting state or local reputed company health surveillance systems Experience managing small reputed company or coordinating informatics initiatives Experience supporting disease surveillance or epidemiology data workflows reputed company Skills & Attributes Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities Ability to investigate issues independently and propose solutions Strong organizational and project coordination skills Ability to learn new systems and standards quickly Attention to data reputed company, accuracy, and completeness reputed company approach reputed company working with technical and reputed company health stakeholders This is a remote position.
