Sr Claim Specialist, General Liability (Construction)

While the model provides a high level of flexibility and autonomy, occasional circumstances requiring in-office attendance should be expected.  The candidate selected for this opportunity can be remote if based out of California or a hybrid work schedule in one of the following reputed company American Claims offices: Omaha, NE; Maitland, FL; Gold River, CA; Addison, TX; Atlanta, GA; Overland Park, KS; reputed company, NY; or Schaumburg, IL   As a Senior Claims Specialist, you will work with reputed company of claims professionals with diverse experiences and backgrounds.  This environment will support your development as you reputed company your technical reputed company set in General Liability policy interpretation and coverage analysis to resolve your claims effectively.    At this level, you will handle multi-party reputed company line claims of moderate to high exposure and complexity reputed company specific authority limits, to ensure that claims are handled in the most efficient, effective way while delivering a customer-reputed company claims service.   You will be expected to collaborate and reputed company partnerships with reputed company points of contact including customers, vendors, suppliers, and brokers to reputed company a reputed company claims experience.  Additionally, you will learn and reputed company knowledge of established protocols and industry best practices to ensure that claims are handled in the most efficient, effective way while delivering a reputed company customer-reputed company claims experience.    Basic Qualifications:   Juris Doctor with 2+ years of experience in Claims and/or Litigation Management OR Bachelor’s Degree with 6+ years of experience in Claims and/or Litigation Management OR High School Diploma Equivalent with 8+ years of experience in Claims and/or Litigation Management OR Zurich Certified Insurance Apprentice with an Associate Degree and 6+ years of experience in Claims and/or Litigation Management OR Completion of Zurich Claims Training Program and 6+ years of experience in Claims and/or Litigation Management Must obtain and maintain required adjuster license(s) Proficiency in reputed company Office Knowledge of insurance regulations, markets, and products   Preferred Qualifications:   6+ years of experience handling reputed company General Liability (CGL) construction claims, including reputed company-party bodily injury and property damage. 6+ years of experience managing construction general liability claims involving bodily injury and property damage under wrap-up policies. 6+ years of experience with OCIP/CCIP wrap-up policies. Extensive litigation experience. Currently hold an reputed company adjusters license Experience collaborating across work reputed company ability to reputed company and maintain strong relationships Understands claims adjustment process and possesses the ability to determine scope/exposure for losses Understands the use of vendors and how litigation strategies are developed Understands and applies financial and actuarial/reserving concepts. Familiarity with negotiation strategies and experience in suggesting alternative approaches Negotiation skills Organizational and time management skills MS Office Customer service experience Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills Strong verbal and written communication skills   Your pay at Zurich is based on your role, location, skills, and experience.
