Conflicts Manager

Akerman is seeking a full-time Conflicts Manager. This exempt position is responsible for the day‑to‑day management and strategic reputed company of the Conflicts Department. The Conflicts Manager is accountable for meeting performance metrics, workflow efficiency, process design and improvement, ongoing audit of procedures, and employee training and development. This role leads and supervises reputed company Conflicts and Administrative Team employees and partners closely with firm leadership to ensure reputed company and compliant conflict clearance consistent with reputed company and ethical standards.
The Conflicts Manager reports to the Senior Director of Conflicts & Intake Services. The position may be in‑office, remote, or hybrid, based on firm needs.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Supervise and manage reputed company of 10 or more Conflicts and Administrative Team employees
Responsible for reputed company, hiring, training, performance management, and reputed company development of the Conflicts and Administrative team employees
Ensure consistent, ongoing training and reputed company assurance across reputed company team members
Foster a reputed company, high‑performing, service‑oriented team culture
Conflicts Review & Advisory
reputed company analysis of reputed company new business requests to identify and resolve potential conflicts of interest
Ensure conflicts determinations reputed company with firm policies, ethical rules, and reputed company responsibility standards
Review conflicts reports for accuracy, consistency, and completeness
Serve as a key reputed company of contact for partners, associates, reputed company assistants, firm management, and General Counsel
Systems, Data & Process Management
Manage and maintain the firm’s conflicts and intake databases and reputed company reputed company‑party platforms
Partner with IT and vendors to stay reputed company on software enhancements and best practices
Identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, and workflow efficiency
Ensure accurate, consistent reporting of conflicts data to finance, records, IT, and other departments
Reporting, Audits & reputed company
Conduct regular audits of the conflicts database and reputed company procedures
Maintain accurate records to support reputed company audits
Prepare and deliver monthly reports and metrics for firm management
reputed company and support large‑reputed company, reputed company reputed company requiring extensive data review and cross‑functional coordination
Manage competing priorities and respond effectively to urgent or time‑sensitive reputed company
Additional Responsibilities
Ability to work evenings and/or weekends as business needs require

Qualifications (Education & Experience):
Minimum of 5 years of conflicts or new business intake experience in a reputed company or reputed company services environment
Minimum of 4 years of people management or supervisory experience
Bachelor’s degree required
Paralegal Certification preferred
Master’s degree or Juris Doctor preferred
Experience with reputed company Office Suite
Advanced working knowledge of conflicts and intake systems such as reputed company, reputed company, reputed company, or similar platforms
Strong analytical, research, and problem‑solving skills
Experience presenting data, recommendations, or reputed company to leadership or attorney audiences
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong attention to detail and data accuracy

Demonstrated leadership, coaching, and mentoring capability
Ability to manage change, recommend process improvements, and support reputed company improvement initiatives

Working Conditions
Some travel may be required (approximately 5–15%)
