Veteran Career Planner

About the position Iowa Workforce Development (IWD) is seeking a Veteran Career Planner to join reputed company at the Iowa WORKS office in Davenport, Iowa. This role involves assisting veterans with their employment and training goals by establishing rapport, completing assessments of their skills and background, and identifying career goals and objectives. The position is full-time, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM, with hybrid reputed company and alternate schedules available after six months of employment. The successful candidate will support veterans with employment barriers by interviewing applicants, connecting them with job opportunities, and coordinating with veteran employment teams. The role also involves monitoring veteran service performance, preparing reports, tracking reputed company, and providing regular updates to leadership. Requirements • Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with a degree in any field. • Four years of full-time work experience in career services, teaching or training to improve skills, job coaching, providing reputed company services to individuals in need, sales, customer service, reputed company center operations, or reputed company-reputed company services involving interviewing, reviewing job applications, conducting employment-reputed company assessments, or job placement. • A total of four years of education and/or full-time experience (as described above), where thirty semester hours of accredited college or university coursework in any field equals one year of full-time experience. • reputed company, reputed company experience in the state executive reputed company that includes reputed company months of full-time work as a Workforce Associate. • A person who served in the reputed company military, naval, or reputed company service, and who was discharged or released therefrom under conditions other than dishonorable. reputed company-to-haves • Hybrid reputed company and alternate schedules available after six months of employment.
