At arenaflex, you'll have the opportunity to work with a talented team of innovators who are passionate about creating exceptional experiences for our customers. **Job Summary** We're seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team in a remote data entry role. As an Accounts Payable Specialist, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the smooth execution of our accounts payable processes, working closely with our AP team, senior accountants, regulators, and assistant regulators. You'll be responsible for entering vendor invoices accurately and efficiently into our SAP system, screening AP email inboxes, and collaborating with vendors to resolve any issues. If you're a detail-oriented, organized, and customer-focused individual with a passion for accounting and data entry, we encourage you to apply. **Key Responsibilities** * Enter vendor invoices accurately and efficiently into our SAP system * Screen AP email inboxes to download vendor invoices and respond to vendor requests * Fortnightly review of different SAP reports (GRIR and MRBR) to ensure invoices are being processed timely and accurately * Plan 1099 reporting and ensure all vendors have the necessary tax identification and W-9 information on record * Collaborate with vendors in a timely and professional manner * Receipt section: 60% * Vendor support: 30% * Incidental progressing/exceptional activities: 10% * Review receipt maturing * Ensure accurate general ledger coding * Ensure accurate matching of purchase orders to invoices * Provide excellent customer support with all interactions **Essential Qualifications** * Four-year degree required, preferably in Accounting * At least 0-2 years of relevant work experience * Demonstrated history in handling accounts payable functions, preferably in a discount distribution company * SAP experience is a plus, but not required * Ability to handle high-speed and high-volume transactions * Strong Excel skills and demonstrated ability to create accounting spreadsheets for tracking vendor activity * Objective-oriented with high standards for excellence * Self-motivated desire to complete projects by deadline * Ability to repeatedly manage routine tasks * Obsessive attention to detail * Seeks new efficiencies to bring to the organization * Ability to manage unique tasks as assigned and work perseveringly to a successful end * Excellent communication and project management skills * PC literate - Microsoft Office (e.g., Word, Excel) **Preferred Qualifications** * Experience with accounts payable software and systems * Knowledge of accounting principles and practices * Familiarity with regulatory requirements and compliance * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities * Excellent time management and organizational skills * Ability to work independently and as part of a team **Work Environment and Company Culture** * On-site: Job requires you to be on-site full-time. * Hybrid: Job requires you to be located in Austin, Texas, and is a combination of on-site and remote. * Remote: Job is fully remote. * arenaflex is committed to creating a work environment that values diversity, equity, and inclusion.
