Customer Service and Logistics Coordinator

We deliver bulk, potable water to residents of Wonder Valley, Twentynine Palms, Joshua Tree, Yucca Valley, Morongo Valley, Pipes Canyon, Pioneertown, Landers, and Johnson Valley. We are committed to providing excellent customer service and offering affordable prices for our valued customers. Summary We are seeking a Customer Service and Logistics Coordinator to join our team. This is a part-time, telework position that provides the flexibility to work remotely. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring customer satisfaction, while coordinating delivery schedules and providing dispatch support. The ideal candidate for this job is personable, dependable, detail oriented, and has a strong work ethic. Your contributions will directly support our mission of delivering clean, potable water to our community. Responsibilities • Serve as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries and service requests • Prepare professional correspondence for new, existing, and potential customers • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions • Coordinate delivery schedules • Dispatch drivers and provide delivery support • Communicate key information to team members • Provide additional administrative support as needed, which may include marketing, database management, and business development tasks Requirements • Resident of the Hi Desert/Morongo Basin with a strong knowledge of our local areas • Proven experience in customer service or a related field • Integrity and professionalism at all times, particularly under pressure • Ability to manage time effectively and maintain a high work standard while working remotely • Work well with structure, systems and processes • Basic data analysis skills to interpret customer feedback • Organized with a high attention to detail • Strong communication and interpersonal skills • Ability to work remotely in a dedicated and secure environment • Access to Wi-Fi and Verizon cell reception • Proficient with Word, Outlook and Google • Proficiency in using CRM software or similar tools is a plus If you are passionate about providing exceptional customer service and want to make a difference in your community, we invite you to apply today and join our dedicated team at Hi Desert Water Transport!
