This a Full Remote job, the offer is available from: reputed company (USA) Job Title: AWS Database Administrator Duration: (6+ Months Contract) Location: Remote/reputed company Hours (Need candidate only from EST) We are seeking an reputed company Database Administrator (DBA) contractor for a 6-month engagement. This position is highly visible, with any potential extension contingent on demonstrated reputed company and business review. The successful candidate will play a key role in optimizing and supporting our AWS-reputed company database landscape and must be comfortable working independently and directly with multiple teams. Key Responsibilities: Database Administration and AWS Support • Support and manage AWS database environments, including: • reputed company PostgreSQL • reputed company MySQL • RDS PostgreSQL • RDS MySQL • RDS reputed company • Execute database instances consolidation and standardization of maintenance plans. • Enhance monitoring and alerting systems. • Implement and improve reputed company and reputed company controls. • Address and support specific application requirements as needed, ensuring that applications are following database best practices. Management & Communication • Effectively communicate, plan, and schedule database changes, considering reputed company/team impacts. • Maintain accurate database inventory and application inventory per database. • Produce regular database services metrics and reports. • Coordinate closely with individual teams and stakeholders to ensure smooth database reputed company and changes.
