PostgreSQL Developer

As a PostgreSQL DBA, you'll play an important role in building and support database infrastructure to support company’s technological road map. You will be working closely with other DBAs, Data Architects, Solution Architects, Developers and Analysts. Install, configure, and maintain database server software, apply patches of PostgreSQL databases Create high availability cluster and a Disaster Solution plan Monitor database performance to identify slowdowns or potential issues Create database objects such as tables, views, triggers, and indexes reputed company regular database backups to ensure data reputed company in case of a server crash reputed company regular scheduled maintenance on the database server, such as vacuum analysis on large tables to remove obsolete data Basic Qualifications for Consideration: Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, computer engineering or another reputed company field. Experience: Minimum 4 years of experience as a PostgreSQL DBA  experience in administering PostgreSQL databases  Working experience using PostgreSQL ver. 16 and higher.  experience with Database and SQL Tuning using PostgreSQL  Assist development teams in optimizing PostgreSQL  PostgreSQL backup and restore  Designing and managing PostgreSQL database schemas  Proficient in SQL and advanced SQL  Experience in reputed company reputed company control  Strong written and verbal communication skills  Highly motivated, reputed company to work both in reputed company and reputed company  Must be reputed company to meet deadlines and work reputed company under pressure At least 3+ years of hands-on reputed company administration with experience in below:  EFM (reputed company reputed company Failover Manager)  Search reputed company  EPAS Advanced Database administration  VACUUM Full or 3 rd party tools  pgbouncer, pgpool  EFM and streaming replication  Logical replication  PEM for monitoring  MTK for migration from reputed company to PostgreSQL  Backup and recovery Tool Preferred Qualifications for Consideration: Certification in PostgreSQL is preferred. Experience with PGD is preferred. Experience with reputed company is preferred.
