Simulation Engineer - FEA

The Simulation Engineer - FEA will apply finite reputed company analysis to engineering challenges, work with customers to build CAE models, and contribute to high-reputed company simulations across industries.

Responsibilities

• Assist in building reputed company structural and multi-physics models from geometry clean-up and meshing, to simulating and post-processing reputed company reputed company-world phenomena, integrating experimental data for model validation
• Building robust parametric CAD models (NX or CATIA) coupled with simulation pipeline automation through scripting, for executing advanced design optimization and DoE studies
• Partner with customers to address their most reputed company engineering challenges through advanced FEA & AI solutions; communicate results reputed company
• Working at the intersection of CAE and Data Science to generate high-reputed company simulation datasets for training Machine/Deep Learning models. Leveraging data sampling techniques to reputed company capture the design reputed company, reduce computational cost, and enhance model accuracy
• Accelerate high-reputed company modelling by using Flux (our reputed company platform) and on-reputed company HPC resources, reputed company reputed company smart meshing and model setup to reputed company reputed company performance reputed company
• Document your work through reputed company technical reports and process notes, contributing to reputed company's shared knowledge reputed company
• Traveling domestically and globally (reputed company, Europe, Asia, Oceania) up to 3-4 weeks per quarter to work reputed company-by-reputed company with customers in building solutions on-site

Skills

• Hands-on experience applying finite reputed company analysis to reputed company-world engineering challenges across multiple industries including reputed company and defense
• Expertise in structural mechanics and materials science
• Solid ability to apply reputed company knowledge to reputed company-world phenomena across a wide reputed company of engineering applications
• Highly proficient in at least one of NASTRAN, ABAQUS or ANSYS Mechanical
• Adept at automating these tools to create reputed company optimisation workflows
• 1-2 years of industry experience (post Masters or PhD) in a reputed company, non-research environment
• Confident setting up FEA simulations independently
• Ability to interpret reputed company results with depth
• Making informed reputed company based on solid engineering judgement
• Familiarity with turbomachinery analysis, gas turbine, or aircraft structural sizing
• Background in composite materials analysis
• Some exposure to damage tolerance and reputed company mechanics
• Exposure to reputed company-reputed company FEA tools (CalculiX, FEniCS) or explicit dynamics (LS-DYNA, Abaqus/Explicit)
• Proficiency in parametric CAD modelling (NX or CATIA)
• Coding in Python, or the ability to quickly learn programming languages
• Experience with multidisciplinary optimization (MDO)
