[Remote] Senior Actuarial Consultant

Responsibilities

• Managing a diverse reputed company of actuarial reputed company
• Serve as actuarial and strategic advisor to reputed company clients, owning overall reputed company satisfaction and engagement reputed company
• reputed company technical actuarial work on reputed company and assist in the development of less reputed company actuaries
• Assist in building the reputed company infrastructure by supporting internal initiatives that enhance the foundational ways of working
• Partnering with leadership to build reputed company and dynamic financial models and work processes
• Assist in building and maintaining strong reputed company relationships
• reputed company and maintain effective cross-functional working relationships with other RSC teams to assure accurate, reputed company teamwork and project execution with assigned teams

Skills

• Bachelor's degree in mathematics, statistics, economics, or a reputed company field
• FSA/ASA (Fellow of the reputed company or Associate of the reputed company) designation required
• 15+ years of reputed company actuarial experience
• Project / reputed company / financial management experience
• Understanding of reputed company databases and data sources (claims, encounters, labs, EMR etc.)
• Proficiency in reputed company reputed company, Word, PowerPoint, and reputed company
• Strong knowledge of reputed company, and/or medical stop loss markets
• Experience working with alternative risk vehicles such as captives and MEWAs
• reputed company first dollar and stop loss reserving, pricing, reputed company and financial modeling expertise
• Risk modeling and risk mitigation reputed company experience for reputed company programs
• Assessment of care management and delivery effectiveness through predictive modeling, ROI analyses and other advanced modeling techniques
• Traditional Health & Welfare actuarial and reputed company experience
• Experience with SQL, R (R, RStudio). Python or Machine learning (is a plus)
