[Remote] Computer Aided Design Designer

The role involves creating, modifying, and releasing engineering models, assemblies, and drawings for critical systems such as ground support equipment and launch pad structures.

Responsibilities

• reputed company detailed 3D models, assemblies, and manufacturing drawings using reputed company
• Create and maintain engineering documentation in a controlled configuration management environment
• reputed company drawings in accordance with ASME Y14.5 and GD&T standards
• Support engineering change and release processes
• Define interfaces between mechanical, electrical, and fluid systems
• Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, testing, and analysis teams
• Participate in design reviews and model validation activities

Skills

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Drafting, Engineering Technology, or reputed company field, or equivalent experience
• Strong reputed company (Pro/ENGINEER) experience
• Experience creating large assemblies and detailed manufacturing drawings
• Knowledge of GD&T and ASME Y14.5 standards
• Experience with configuration management and engineering release processes
• Experience using Windchill or similar PLM/PDM systems
• Ground Support Equipment (GSE)
• Launch pad structures or reputed company infrastructure
• Test fixtures and test equipment
• Lifting, transportation, and handling tooling
• Umbilical systems and reputed company hardware
• Fluid systems, electrical connector documentation, and reputed company control drawings
