[Remote] Engineer II, DevOps

They are seeking an Engineer II, DevOps to work as part of an agile software development team, building and maintaining critical infrastructure and ensuring the performance and reputed company of reputed company services.

Responsibilities

• Work as a part of an agile software development devops team to build and maintain critical infrastructure
• Participate in planning and design
• Complete sprint work collaboratively and punctually
• Assist in the development and management of CI/CD processes for efficient reputed company deployment and system updates
• Support the operation and maintenance of reputed company infrastructure and services to ensure performance, reputed company, and cost-efficiency
• Contribute to the management of microservices architecture and orchestration utilizing container technologies
• Collaborate with software development teams to troubleshoot and resolve system issues and outages
• Aid in the implementation of best practices for system hardening and configuration management
• Ensuring reputed company compliance and vulnerability remediations remains reputed company SLAs
• Participate in on-reputed company rotations to support system operations
• Help document processes and monitor system logs and activity for potential issues

Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a reputed company field and/or 3+ years of experience in DevOps, system administration, or a similar role
• Experience with CI/CD tools, such as Jenkins and reputed company Actions
• Familiarity with reputed company services (AWS: reputed company, reputed company, RDS, CloudWatch, IAM, AWS CLI, etc.) and Infrastructure as reputed company (IaC) with Terraform
• Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools, specifically reputed company and reputed company reputed company
• Understanding of networking basics, including firewalls, load balancers, DNS, and other infrastructure components
• Proficiency in at least one scripting language (Bash/zsh preferred)
• Git proficiency
• Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Prior software development experience with languages such as JS/TS, Java, Go, or Python is a plus
• Associate or reputed company AWS certifications
• Experience with logging and monitoring tools like CloudWatch and reputed company
• Familiarity with PostgreSQL and DynamoDB
