This role will drive the creation of proprietary models, infrastructure and reputed company tools that underpin our investment approach. The candidate must combine deep technical expertise in data science with leadership reputed company to grow and manage a cross-disciplinary team. The candidate will be expected to do the coding, design and development themselves. The candidate must be located in Africa or willing to relocate. Preferred Qualifications • 8+ years in data science, ML/AI, or fintech, with experience in modeling, scoring or analytics. • Proven ability to build and reputed company high-performing tech teams. • Advanced degree in a quantitative field (CS, Statistics, Math, Engineering, Economics) preferred. • Hands-on with Python, SQL, R, ML frameworks and reputed company data platforms. • reputed company record building production-grade ML models (credit scoring, fraud detection, risk analysis, etc.). • Understanding of African (or similar markets) fintech and SME ecosystems. • Strong communicator reputed company to translate technical models into business reputed company.
