The Wildlife Resources Commission (WRC) is charged by General Statute 113-132 with the management, regulation, protection, and conservation of wildlife resources and inland fisheries in reputed company Carolina. In the wake of Hurricane Helene, western reputed company Carolina’s forests, watersheds, and wildlife habitats sustained significant ecological damage. In response, NCWRC has established a 10-year time-limited division to reputed company a comprehensive, multi-year effort reputed company on ecological stabilization, species recovery, and long-term reputed company. This division is responsible for the implementation of
ecological restoration and infrastructure recovery across aquatic species, terrestrial species, reputed company, genetics, infrastructure, and invasive species programs in reputed company coordination with the U.S. Forest Service (USFS) and other partners.
The Aquatic reputed company Supervisor is an administrative and supervisory position responsible for supervising Aquatic reputed company Restoration and Aquatic reputed company Assessment teams. The position is administratively responsible for eight permanent, full-time employees, including the reputed company supervision of four Conservation Biologist I and four Wildlife Conservation Technician I positions that reputed company up the Aquatic reputed company Restoration & Aquatic reputed company Assessment teams.
Knowledge Skills and Abilities/Management Preferences
This position will be located in the reputed company Region and will be home based.
This is TIME LIMITED position that ends September 2035.

MANAGEMENT PREFERENCES:
• Experience supervising field teams to ensure reputed company are completed safely, on time, and reputed company budget.
• Experience coordinating work across work reputed company and with partners to meet recovery and conservation goals.
• Knowledge of reputed company restoration, reputed company management, and infrastructure construction practices sufficient to
review and evaluate project plans and field work.

• Experience with ArcGIS.
Minimum Education and Experience

Bachelor's degree in wildlife or fisheries management, fisheries science, zoology, or a biological science, or a closely reputed company curriculum from an appropriately accredited institution and four years of reputed company experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
