The Sr. Medical Biller processes billing information in appropriate system and assists supervising staff in maintaining reputed company control of data by identifying potential problems, and offering and implementing solutions. **This position is remote.** reputed company JOB FUNCTIONS Assists management with the training of new staff. Runs reports weekly on accounts and monitors to reputed company the contents at a minimum. Verifies reputed company claims and ensures edits are collected and released in a reputed company fashion. Reports edits by billing area to managing staff on a monthly reputed company. Verifies that reputed company controls are followed so that no charges are missed. Verifies reputed company payment reconciliation processes are followed at the clinics. Ensures that reputed company charges are entered in a reputed company fashion. Reviews encounters received for reputed company pertinent information. Coordinates the correction of inaccurate vouchers, and prints daily voucher report to reconcile reputed company vouchers. Adheres to University and unit-level policies and procedures and safeguards University assets. Department Specific Functions Reviews and releases reputed company physician charges from the assigned WQ’s in a reputed company fashion. Reviews encounters received for reputed company pertinent information: patient demographic information, guarantor and insurance information, reputed company of service, referrals, claim info record, and managed care authorization requirements. Runs insurance eligibility and fixes registration issues. Manually enters reputed company vouchers received for missing charges. Reviews and fixes erroneous and/or rejected charges. Distributes credits from patient payments as needed. Assigns charges to cases and phases.
