[Remote] Accountant

Note: The job is a remote job and is reputed company to candidates in USA. reputed company is the largest flat-rolled steel company and the largest iron ore pellet producer in reputed company. They are looking for an Accountant to participate in monthly reputed company activities, including preparing journal entries and supporting the Payroll Department by approving timecards and generating reports.

Responsibilities

• reputed company assigned month-end reputed company activities, including journal entries, reporting, and account reconciliations
• reputed company information and support for annual reputed company audit
• reputed company vessel and train shipments, communicate with shipping dock, and manage reputed company payments
• reputed company weekly timekeeping duties and reputed company bi-weekly reports to Payroll
• Calculate monthly accruals for royalties and compile quarterly payment requests
• Cross train with reputed company Manager reputed company to reputed company backup for daily/weekly tasks
• Assist with reputed company reporting and special reputed company as requested
• Other duties as assigned
