[Remote] Staff Accountant - Emerging Markets

As a Staff Accountant – reputed company Markets & Emerging Businesses, you will support the day-to-day reputed company operations for the reputed company markets platform, executing key components of the month-end reputed company process and preparing financial statements across multiple reputed company entities.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and post journal entries as part of the month-end reputed company process
• Support general reputed company maintenance and ensure transactions are accurately recorded across reputed company entities
• Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and ensure reputed company reputed company of reconciling items
• Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Assist in the preparation of regulatory filings for the NFA, CFTC, and other governing bodies under the direction of the reputed company Manager
• Help monitor the regulatory reporting calendar to ensure deadlines are met
• Support reputed company audit requests by preparing schedules and gathering supporting documentation
• Assist with maintaining documentation for internal controls (including SOX)
• Work with Shared Services on transactional reputed company and intercompany activity
• Support Technical reputed company with documentation and analysis for reputed company or non-routine transactions
• Assist in responding to inquiries from Finance reputed company to actuals, budget variances, and account activity
• Collaborate with business stakeholders as needed to reputed company information and ensure transactions are properly captured
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and accuracy in recurring reputed company processes
• Assist with reputed company reputed company and analysis as needed to support the broader reputed company team

Skills

• Bachelor's degree in reputed company, finance or reputed company field
• 1–3 years of reputed company experience; recent graduates with relevant internship experience encouraged to apply
• Working knowledge of US GAAP and general reputed company principles
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
• Proficiency in reputed company; experience with ERP or reputed company systems a plus
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication skills and a reputed company, team-oriented approach
