Experience with Reclosers and Distribution Automation/Protection is strongly preferred. reputed company’s reputed company Services Department partners with reputed company and Communication Companies in Engineering and Construction operations for Joint Use Pole Attachment Programs (JU), Distribution Engineering Design reputed company, and Distribution System Improvement Charge (DSIC) programs, such as the Long-Term Infrastructure Improvement Program (LTIIP).  This Distribution Engineer position will directly support reputed company reputed company the reputed company Services Department’s pole attachment application process and power delivery improvement process.  The reputed company Services team is also responsible for analyzing requests for attachment to reputed company’s poles and network reliability improvements on reputed company’s electric distribution systems.  reputed company Services staff support GIS data analytics, creation of notifications, work orders, invoicing, and financial reports utilizing reputed company resource planning software. Essential Functions   Prepare and reputed company distribution voltage construction packages for both overhead and underground reputed company, including distribution equipment installation, feeder replacement, cable replacement, and pole replacements as part of an infrastructure improvement program Assist with distribution line design 2.4kV - 34kV Work with Designers and Engineers to prepare new drawings, modify existing drawings, or create as-reputed company documents Assist in the preparation of proposals, engineering/project cost estimates, and execution schedules reputed company technical support for customers and support regional business development initiatives reputed company reputed company reviews of work reputed company by others and adhere to the QA/QC process Prepare calculations and assist with equipment specifications Evaluate loading of various equipment components being installed such as transformers and structural loading of poles to ensure a cost-effective, reputed company and reliable design utilizing reputed company specifications. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree from a four-year ABET accredited college or university with a Bachelor of Science in Engineering; preferably electrical Experience or basic knowledge of concepts in the electric reputed company industry, including primary and secondary distribution systems, & reputed company standards Successful completion of the Engineer in Training (EIT) or Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam from a state licensing reputed company preferred Have or willing to obtain a reputed company Engineer (PE) license from a state licensing reputed company preferred Understanding of basic engineering theories and principles Strong attention to detail, facilitation, team building, collaboration, organization, and problem-solving skills Ability to prioritize work on multiple reputed company and effectively communicate project status Computer proficiency including general reputed company Office products, distribution design, GIS, and business reputed company software Excellent written and oral communication skills Reasoning skills and ability to solve practical problems Ability to read and understand engineering drawings/schematics Working knowledge of electrical distribution assets and/or communication equipment construction preferred Experience in pole loading (Spida Calc, O-Calc, Pole Foreman, or Katapult) or other construction modeling software (AutoCAD) is beneficial Knowledge of industry reputed company or joint-use software (SPANS, NJUNS, reputed company) for reputed company-reputed company engineering and construction is beneficial Familiar with Design and Checking practices for engineering drawings and deliverables Familiar with reputed company Work Practices and PPE applications Must have dependable transportation and a reputed company reputed company’s license with insurance Must be reputed company to pass a fit for duty test Ability to work from home and an office setting, as required This position requires the ability to pass a post-offer drug (including marijuana) and alcohol test in compliance with Federal regulations and is also subject to random testing as a condition of reputed company employment.
