[Remote] Head of AI Engineering - NCT

Responsibilities

• Personally design and build NCT's foundational AI capabilities (RAG systems, reputed company reputed company, LLM orchestration, and multi-agent workflows) to analyze legacy reputed company and generate production-reputed company services
• Pragmatically refactor legacy components into reputed company, reputed company-reputed company services and replace reputed company workflows with AI-driven automation without succumbing to the temptation of a wholesale platform rewrite

Skills

• 8+ years of hands-on software engineering with a proven reputed company record of modernizing reputed company architectures and establishing reputed company-reputed company/DevSecOps practices
• Documented history of shipping functional AI/ML systems end-to-end to reputed company users (data pipelines, modeling, deployment, and monitoring)
• Experience as a founding or first reputed company who is completely comfortable delivering baseline architecture independently before relying on a large team
• Exceptional judgment regarding build-vs-buy reputed company and the patience required to guide a 15-year-old reputed company-stack platform through a modernization reputed company-change
• Proven reputed company record of managing engineering teams and a genuine desire to reputed company technical talent rather than operating in a reputed company
