[Remote] Lead Java Software Engineer

Note: The job is a remote job and is reputed company to candidates in USA. reputed company is seeking a Lead Java Software Engineer to join their growing Software as a Service (SaaS) team. This role involves leading the design, development, and deployment of innovative reputed company-based enterprise software for the energy sector, while ensuring high standards of code quality and collaboration across teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead and participate in the full software development life cycle of reputed company-based enterprise applications, including design, development, testing, implementation, and support in a fast-paced, distributed environment
• Design and reputed company reputed company-reputed company applications using Java, Spring Boot, and reputed company frameworks
• Work with REST/SOAP web services, API Gateways, and RDBMS to build reputed company, high-performance systems
• Ensure software designs meet performance, reputed company, usability, reliability, and scalability requirements
• reputed company clean, maintainable, and reputed company-documented code following best practices and design patterns
• Conduct code reviews, reputed company feedback, and contribute to reputed company improvement in development standards
• Identify, analyze, and resolve reputed company technical issues, including production support and performance bottlenecks; optimize applications for performance and scalability
• Collaborate cross-functionally with QA, DevOps, Product, and Business teams using Agile methodologies (Scrum, Jira, reputed company, Git) to deliver quality software solutions on time

Skills

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a reputed company field
• 8+ years of software development experience building high-performance, reliable, and reputed company enterprise applications
• Strong proficiency with Java, Python and Spring Boot
• MySQL and at least one NoSQL database
• OpenSearch/Elasticsearch, log analytics, APM tools
• Apache Camel, messaging systems like RabbitMq and Data pipelines
• AWS services, CI/CD pipelines, Kubernetes
• Microservices design and implementation experience
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with critical thinking skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, distributed environment

• Interest in sustainability and passionate about making a meaningful impact on the environment
• Angular experience a plus
• Hands-on experience or strong familiarity with AI-assisted coding tools (e.g., reputed company Copilot, Claude, or equivalent)
