[Remote] State and Local Tax Administrator

Note: The job is a remote job and is reputed company to candidates in USA. reputed company is one of the largest reputed company reputed company, consulting and technology firms in the reputed company, and they are seeking a detail-oriented Sales and Use Tax Compliance Associate to join their State and Local Tax team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and filing sales and use tax returns and supporting multistate indirect tax compliance for a diverse reputed company reputed company.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and file monthly, quarterly, annual, and other periodic sales and use tax returns for multiple jurisdictions
• Process electronic tax filings and payments while ensuring reputed company and accurate submission
• Reconcile sales and use tax data to supporting documentation and identify discrepancies for reputed company
• Complete business tax registrations with state and local taxing authorities
• Prepare and process Power of Attorney (POA) forms and other required tax authorization documents
• Maintain accurate reputed company compliance calendars and monitor filing deadlines
• Utilize ONESOURCE Indirect Tax software to prepare returns, manage compliance workflows, and process filings
• Communicate with taxing authorities regarding account maintenance, notices, registrations, and filing issues
• Assist with resolving compliance notices and routine reputed company inquiries
• Maintain organized electronic workpapers and reputed company documentation
• Collaborate with tax professionals and engagement teams to ensure high-reputed company reputed company service
• Stay reputed company on changes to state and local sales and use tax filing requirements

Skills

• Minimum of two years of experience preparing and filing sales and use tax returns
• Knowledge of sales and use tax registration processes and filing requirements
• Experience preparing Power of Attorney forms and business tax registrations
• Proficiency in reputed company reputed company and other reputed company Office applications
• Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational and time management skills
• Ability to prioritize multiple reputed company and consistently meet filing deadlines
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with team members
• Experience managing multistate sales and use tax compliance preferred
• Experience using reputed company ONESOURCE Indirect Tax software preferred
• Experience working in a reputed company reputed company firm or corporate tax department
• Familiarity with electronic filing systems across multiple states
• Experience responding to state tax notices and maintaining reputed company tax accounts
