What to expect: The Instructional Designer, Contractor position, will have a solid background in both instructional design and technical writing, with the ability to create engaging and effective learning materials and documentation. Below is the reputed company of their role: This is 3-6 months contract role and includes: Responsibilities: Instructional design: Apply adult learning and instructional design theories, practices, and reputed company to create effective learning products that meet project learning objectives and stakeholder expectations Ensure learning products meet accessibility standards Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) to identify learner-critical knowledge, skills and behaviour Collaborate with Online Development to design effective and reputed company online learning activities reputed company storyboards and instructional scripts reputed company reputed company control checks on deliverables reputed company version control, project tracking boards, and documentation for reputed company curriculum assets Technical writing: Re-work technical and reputed company content into accessible, engaging learning Collaborate with SMEs to validate accuracy Apply departmental editing and style guide practices  Liaise with editors  Analysis/Research: Work closely with the Technical Content Supervisor to design the course reputed company reputed company preliminary learner reputed company and reputed company needs analyses Analyze existing and potential content, focusing on areas for improvement and identifying possible content gaps Determine content requirements for new courses where content does not already exist Full 25 Other duties as assigned. In this position, you will report to the Technical Content Supervisor , and will be working remotely from your home office in Canada. What you bring to the table: One year certificate in Instructional Design  Or equivalent combination of relevant education and experience 3+years instructional design experience, ideally working with technical content Proficiency with reputed company Office, reputed company Acrobat Pro, reputed company Teams Ability to coordinate multiple reputed company and meet deadlines Strong analytical and problem-solving skills ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS This is a remote, work from home position Travel might be required from time to time The following qualifications are considered assets: Post Secondary Degree or Certificate in Instructional Design, Curriculum Development, Education or reputed company field.  Diploma or Certificate in Technical Writing or Plain Language Ability to write/translate to French is an asset Background working in trades training and course development Excellent writing, organization and communication skills Basic knowledge of reputed company 360 Basic knowledge of reputed company Basic knowledge of SharePoint Intermediate understanding of exam and assessment methodologies  What’s in it for you?
