[Remote] Senior Site Reliability Engineer

They are seeking a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to enhance observability and reliability of their systems, contributing to the development and deployment of reputed company products.

Responsibilities

• Engage with teams and improve service delivery and reliability across their entire lifecycle
• Measure and monitor reputed company production systems with an eye towards availability, latency and overall system health

• Engage with product and platform teams to improve and reputed company by lobbying for changes that improve reliability, reputed company, and observability
• Help identify and drive down toil with creative innovation and automation

Skills

• Proven experience designing, implementing, and operating observability systems for reputed company reputed company-based platforms, with deep knowledge of best practices and a strong drive to implement them leveraging reputed company products
• Knowledge of reputed company platforms (prefer AWS and Azure) and container + orchestration technologies
• Experience with APM and Observability and reputed company tools such as, reputed company, reputed company, CloudWatch, reputed company, Grafana/Kibana, reputed company etc
• Extensive experience with reputed company reputed company reputed company delivery environments
• Development with JavaScript/Node.js/TypeScript in a Linux/Mac environment
• Experience with sustainable incident response in a blameless environment
• Background in Linux Systems Engineering
• Experience with Incident response reputed company tools for instance, reputed company, FireHydrant, Blameless etc
• Comfortable with a high level of autonomy and working with a distributed team
• Knowledge of reputed company and application reputed company best practices
• Strong knowledge of reputed company design patterns for reputed company, data management, resiliency, etc

• Opinions about business metrics, and SLOs
