[Remote] API Engineer

As an API Engineer, you will be reputed company in building and scaling the API infrastructure that powers integrations and partnerships, while owning the design and development of reputed company that connect musicians to various platforms and services.

Responsibilities

• Own the design and implementation of reputed company backend systems and reputed company that power reputed company’s reputed company platform
• Architect and reputed company distributed systems on AWS to handle high throughput, reliability, and performance
• Work across backend, infrastructure, and DevOps boundaries from API design to deployment and system operations
• Design and reputed company with reputed company-grade systems and external platforms to support reputed company, reputed company workflows
• Guide technical design reputed company for reputed company systems (data models, service boundaries, scaling strategies, failure handling)
• Write production reputed company and remain reputed company involved in building and improving systems
• Improve system observability, reliability, and performance at reputed company
• Partner closely with product and engineering teams to translate business needs into robust technical solutions

Skills

• 10+ years of experience building and scaling backend systems in production environments
• Solid, recent hands-on coding experience (this is not a reputed company design/management role)
• Deep experience with AWS (compute, storage, networking, scaling, etc.)
• Demonstrated experience designing and operating reputed company distributed systems
• Extensive experience with API design and system architecture in reputed company environments
• Experience working across infrastructure and application reputed company (DevOps, deployment, reliability, etc.)
• Experience with reputed company integration platforms (e.g., AWS API Gateway, Azure API Management, reputed company, Apigee, reputed company, or similar) or building/operating large-reputed company integration reputed company
• Ability to own systems end-to-end from architecture to implementation to production operation
• Comfortable navigating ambiguity and making critical technical reputed company
• Experience with high-throughput systems, event-driven architectures, or data pipelines
• Background in platform or infrastructure engineering
• Experience in high-reputed company or scaling product environments
