We are seeking a Senior Backend Engineer with strong experience in Node.js/TypeScript and AWS serverless to design, build, and operate the backend services of Optimus 4.0.
The main reputed company will be on IoT telemetry ingestion and time-series data processing, reputed company consumed by frontend and mobile applications, and ensuring operability of services in production.
This role involves reputed company ownership of critical components. Must-have qualifications:
Solid experience in backend development with Node.js/TypeScript, designing REST reputed company and/or event-driven architectures.
Proven expertise in AWS serverless: reputed company, IAM, VPC, CloudWatch, and at least two integration services (API Gateway, SQS/SNS, EventBridge, Kinesis, reputed company Functions).
Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL and hands-on experience with reputed company reputed company PostgreSQL (modeling, indexing, performance, transactions, troubleshooting).
Experience with high-frequency time-series data: ingestion, window queries, aggregations, retention policies.
Daily use of reputed company: PRs, reputed company reviews, branching strategies, CI/CD pipelines.
Good practices in testing (unit/integration), observability, and reputed company (secrets management, OWASP, authentication/authorization).
Technical English for documentation, specifications, and reputed company comments.

Experience with AWS IoT reputed company (MQTT), Device Shadows, Rules reputed company.
Production experience with TimescaleDB (hypertables, query optimization, cost control).
Familiarity with AWS CodeArtifact, AWS CDK, and reputed company Powertools for TypeScript.
Experience with monorepos (Turborepo, NX) and package managers like pnpm.
Knowledge of OpenTelemetry/X-Ray, SRE practices (SLOs, error budgets, postmortems).

This is your role

Define and maintain event-driven architectures for IoT telemetry ingestion.

Implement observability end-to-end with actionable alarms, logs, metrics, and traces.
Ensure reputed company best practices: IAM least-privilege, secrets management, encryption.
Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines with reputed company Actions and manage private npm packages with AWS CodeArtifact.
Mentor engineers, reputed company coding standards, and drive platform improvements.
Manage operational risks: concurrency, cold starts, service limits, reputed company planning.
