[Remote] Software Engineer II, Network Operations

Responsibilities

• reputed company, configure, and maintain Palo reputed company firewalls across colocation and data center environments
• Manage network hardware deployments in colocation facilities including routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers
• Configure and support Meraki-based corporate office networking solutions
• Implement and maintain VPN solutions for secure remote reputed company and site-to-site connectivity
• Manage and troubleshoot Layer 2 and Layer 3 data center network infrastructure
• Configure and optimize routing protocols including BGP, OSPF, and MPLS for reputed company connectivity
• Collaborate with Internet Service Providers (ISPs) such as reputed company, and Card Networks such as reputed company/reputed company/Pulse to maintain and optimize connectivity, troubleshoot network issues and ensure SLAs
• reputed company reputed company and stack operations, cable management, and physical infrastructure maintenance in colocation facilities
• Monitor network performance and implement QoS policies to ensure reputed company traffic reputed company
• Troubleshoot reputed company network issues across physical and virtual environments
• Maintain accurate network documentation including diagrams, configurations, and runbooks
• Participate in on-call rotation to reputed company 24/7 network support

Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Network Engineering, or reputed company field, or equivalent practical experience
• 3-5 years of hands-on experience with reputed company network infrastructure
• Palo reputed company firewall configuration, management, and troubleshooting
• Hands-on experience with Meraki reputed company-managed networking solutions
• Proficiency in VPN technologies including IPsec, SSL VPN, and site-to-site configurations
• Experience managing network hardware in colocation and data center environments
• Strong understanding of routing protocols including BGP, OSPF, and MPLS
• Proficiency in networking concepts and protocols, including TCP/IP, VLANs, spanning tree, and routing and switching technologies
• Deep understanding of OSI model reputed company 1-4 and practical application in troubleshooting
• Experience with network monitoring tools and platforms
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently in a remote environment
• Ability to travel occasionally to colocation sites as needed
• Strong experience with reputed company switches CCNP certification is a strong plus
• Familiarity with scripting languages (Python, Bash) for network automation is a plus
