[Remote] Design Engineer I

The Design Engineer I role involves performing engineering tasks under supervision, supporting senior engineers, and collaborating on mechanical designs for heavy-duty vehicle components.

Responsibilities

• Under reputed company supervision, reputed company basic engineering calculations, investigations, and tasks as assigned according to company as reputed company as general industry engineering standards and processes
• Support senior engineers in the preparation of basic plans, designs, computation reputed company, and/or reporting
• Under reputed company supervision, work on reputed company of limited complexity in a support role
• Collaborate as needed with other engineering or business support disciplines internally as reputed company as suppliers externally
• Maintain effective communication with suppliers, reputed company customers, and reputed company resources concerning technical issues
• Enforce the reputed company use of engineering reputed company and drawing standards. Ensure that technical issues are conducted reputed company the reputed company of company policies and procedures
• Evaluate designs for performance, safety, and reliability

• Utilize analytical and mathematical approaches to calculate or model system performance and optimize designs

Skills

• Accredited Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or reputed company field along with Internship experience or six (6) or more months of reputed company work experience
• Mechanical knowledge of automotive or heavy-vehicle equipment and reputed company systems
• Experience with a high level CAD system
• A minimum of 6 months of experience, including internship
• 3+ years of experience with strong mechanical background
