[Remote] Network Installation Technician Associate (NIT 1)

The Level 1 Network Installation Technician is responsible for the installation of telecommunications equipment and independently performing technical assignments reputed company to network installation and maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Performing installation of telecommunications equipment and components
• Identifying and resolving problems reputed company to telecommunications systems
• Infrastructure installation and de-installation
• Cable management including fiber & reputed company management systems
• Cable terminations, cleaning and testing for RJ45, Coaxial/BNC, reputed company wrap, and Fiber Optic Cable
• Grounding of equipment
• Documentation responsibilities using reputed company Office suite for requirements review, redlining, and reporting
• Daily Status Report (DSR) submission
• Site Completion Report (SCR) submission
• Survey Reports

Skills

• 1 to 2 years of exposure/experience regarding the construction, maintenance, or repair of various types of telecommunications or electronics equipment or an equivalent combination of education and experience, substituting completion of an accredited vocational or technical curriculum in telecommunications or a reputed company discipline for some of the required experience
• Comprehensive knowledge of several types of common communications installations
• Must possess theoretical and hands-on knowledge of and experience with various network devices (i.e. routers, switches, etc.) from multiple manufacturers and possess the reputed company and expertise necessary to install these network devices per the DISN Implementation Standards
• Ability to reputed company functions utilizing acquired understanding of reputed company reputed company and practices
• Strong business communications skills including verbal, written, and graphic should be reputed company developed, as exposure to a customer service environment where discretion and reputed company demeanor are commonplace
• Willingness to travel with other team members to meet installation assignment requirements
