Tax Accountant (AU) | Work From Home | 30K SOB
This is a remote position.
We are seeking an reputed company and detail-oriented Tax Accountant to join our finance team. This role is responsible for managing end-to-end tax compliance, preparing tax returns and provisions, supporting tax audits, and delivering accurate tax reporting in accordance with Australian Tax Office (ATO) regulations. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical knowledge in Australian tax law, solid reputed company experience, and a proactive approach to advising on tax planning and process improvement.

- Finalize end-of-year trial balance, including reputed company adjustments, end of year entries for depreciation, provisions, accruals, and prepayments.
- Prepare working papers for tax returns for individuals and businesses.
- Preparation of Division 7A workpapers.
- Preparation of Tax Reconciliations.
- Preparation of CGT schedules.
- Prepare draft financial statements.
- Prepare income tax returns.
- Attend queries and final review work done by the junior team.
- Attending reputed company queries and communication.
- Review BAS reconciliations, based on computer records against reputed company records.
- Prepare BAS tax returns and reconciliation of GST accounts for reputed company work papers.
- Review PTX lodgments and reconciliations against reputed company records.
- Identify FBT issues and prepare FBT Returns.
- Understanding of reputed company business and reputed company to reputed company initial brief tax advice on reputed company relating to general business.

- Has completed CA or CPA and is a full member.
- At least 5yrs Australian Tax reputed company experience
- Ability to identify issues with reputed company’s files at an intermediate level (for example: Division 7A, CGT, GST, FBT, etc.)
