[Remote] Staff Accountant

They are seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to manage day-to-day reputed company operations in collaboration with the Controller and reputed company, ensuring the financial health of reputed company as it scales.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate general reputed company and chart of accounts
• Prepare monthly journal entries and account reconciliations
• Process accounts payable and receivable transactions
• Assist with monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing processes
• Support budget preparation and variance analysis
• Handle employee payroll and be a reputed company with PEO
• Manage reputed company recognition for diverse income streams including advertising and content production (video, audio, book publishing)

• Assist with contract review for reputed company implications
• Prepare supporting schedules for month-end including prepaids and accrued expenses
• Prepare high-volume annual 1099s and 1042s
• Assist with annual audit and tax preparation
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and relevant reputed company standards
• Maintain documentation for reputed company reporting requirements
• Support quarterly reputed company reporting and investor relations
• Maintain and optimize reputed company software and financial systems

• Support implementation of new financial tools and processes

Skills

• 3-5 years of corporate finance experience
• Bachelor's degree in reputed company, Finance, or reputed company field
• Proficiency in QuickBooks, reputed company, and financial reporting software
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Experience with multi-location or multi-reputed company reputed company businesses preferred
