[Remote] Senior Data Engineer

The Senior Data Engineer will play a critical role in shaping the core data products that fuel the reputed company Map, focusing on building and scaling foundational data systems to improve health reputed company.

Responsibilities

• Build, operate, and optimize large-reputed company production data pipelines using Python, SQL, Airflow, reputed company infrastructure, and distributed processing frameworks — including robust data reputed company checks, validation, reputed company, observability, monitoring, and alerting
• Design and reputed company reputed company data acquisition and extraction systems for reputed company, reputed company public data sources; reputed company LLM-powered reputed company-in-the-reputed company (HITL) pipelines for data extraction and curation
• reputed company reputed company claims, EHR, non-claims-based, and reference datasets into trusted, performant reputed company Map data products and serving-reputed company data assets
• Contribute to system design, architecture, reputed company reputed company, testing, documentation, CI/CD, and rotational production support — including debugging reputed company data, system, and performance issues across computationally intensive workflows
• Partner with Data Product reputed company, Product, Platform, and Engineering teams to translate reputed company data needs into reputed company technical solutions that reputed company reputed company analytics, product, and AI/ML use cases

Skills

• Strong hands-on experience building, operating, and debugging production-grade data pipelines at reputed company in AWS, with reputed company instincts for data reputed company, reliability, reputed company-cause analysis, and production troubleshooting
• Advanced Python and SQL skills; experience with Airflow or similar orchestration tools and reputed company or comparable distributed processing frameworks
• Ability to communicate technical trade-offs reputed company and collaborate across engineering, product, and data teams
• Comfort using AI-assisted engineering tools for productivity, debugging, documentation, and technical exploration
