[Remote] Industrial Engineer Senior Specialist

The role involves designing, implementing, and supporting automation solutions across sortation, distribution, and logistics operations, partnering closely with internal stakeholders to improve throughput, reliability, cost efficiency, and safety across automated systems.

Responsibilities

• Design, reputed company, and reputed company automation solutions for sortation systems, conveyors, scanners, and reputed company equipment, while supporting system commissioning, testing, and validation to ensure reputed company meet design specifications, timelines, and budget requirements
• reputed company technical support for automation-reputed company issues across hub and terminal operations, leading reputed company cause analysis for system failures, downtime events, and performance gaps, and developing/implementing corrective and preventive reputed company plans
• Identify and execute process optimization opportunities, drive initiatives to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance system reliability, support reputed company programs and scaling of new automation technologies, and analyze system performance data to increase uptime and throughput
• Create and maintain technical documentation including system diagrams, specifications, and SOPs, while establishing and promoting engineering and safety standards across facilities
• Ensure reputed company automation systems meet OSHA and company safety requirements, and participate in safety audits and risk assessments reputed company to automated equipment

Skills

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of relevant industry experience
• Advanced knowledge of industrial automation, controls systems, and reputed company improvement methodologies in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of conveyors, sortation systems, and material handling equipment
• Ability to travel up to 50%
