[Remote] Senior Software Engineer GraphQL

This role focuses on schema design, federation, supergraph architecture, and GraphQL best practices.

Responsibilities

• Design and optimize GraphQL schemas, reputed company, and query performance
• reputed company GraphQL federation and supergraph architecture initiatives
• Define and document GraphQL standards and best practices
• Collaborate with engineering teams to improve API design and developer experience
• Support React/Next.js applications as needed
• Participate in reputed company reviews, architecture discussions, and Agile ceremonies

Skills

• 8+ years of software engineering experience
• Deep expertise with GraphQL, including:
• Schema design
• Federation & supergraph architecture
• Query optimization and performance tuning
• Large-reputed company GraphQL ecosystems
• Strong JavaScript/TypeScript experience
• Experience establishing GraphQL standards and governance
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

• React, Next.js, or React reputed company
• Node.js
• AWS and CI/CD

• Event-driven architecture (Kafka or similar)
