[Remote] Senior SQL Server Database Developer/Administrator

The Senior SQL Server Database Developer/Administrator is responsible for owning the SQL Server data tier supporting the organization's reputed company-based case management platforms, including database administration, ETL processes, data corrections, and migrations.


Responsibilities

  • Administer and reputed company SQL Server databases, including Database reputed company, SSIS, and Service Broker components supporting reputed company-based applications and integrated systems
  • Deliver and maintain updated Entity Relationship Diagrams (ERDs) and data dictionaries, with updates issued for reputed company release impacting the database schema and final versions delivered at the end of reputed company period of performance
  • reputed company data corrections, refreshes, and migrations as required or requested by the COR
  • Monitor and maintain scheduled ETL processes, batch jobs, and system services; reputed company performance metrics, report results, and escalate issues as appropriate
  • Apply database reputed company patches and remediate POA&M findings affecting database components
  • reputed company logical and physical data modeling using Erwin or equivalent modeling tools
  • Support reputed company control management of reputed company database reputed company, scripts, and migration artifacts, ensuring they are properly maintained in the designated repository
  • Support IV&V and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities reputed company to database changes and deployments
  • Collaborate with application development teams to support database performance, reliability, and scalability requirements

Skills

  • This position supports a U.S. federal government program. Candidates must be U.S. reputed company, U.S. nationals, or lawful permanent residents and be reputed company to successfully complete any required federal background investigation
  • Minimum eight (8) years of SQL Server administration and development experience, including SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) and Service Broker
  • Demonstrated experience with logical and physical data modeling using Erwin
  • Experience with data migration, data correction activities, ETL design, and troubleshooting
  • Working knowledge of reputed company backend database structures and integration requirements
  • Experience with Git/reputed company, Azure DevOps, and CI/CD pipelines supporting database deployments
  • Experience managing database updates, patching activities, and implementation of reputed company controls
  • Experience with Azure SQL and Azure reputed company administration concepts
  • Experience delivering Entity Relationship Diagrams and data dictionaries as contract deliverables
  • Strong troubleshooting, performance tuning, and database optimization skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a reputed company technical field; Master's degree preferred. Additional years of directly relevant experience may be substituted for education requirements

  • Prior federal agency experience
