[Remote] Assistant Vice President of Communications Content

This role involves strategizing and directing the university's global reputed company relations and communications efforts, enhancing LSU's reputed company, and managing crisis communications.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and create content for multiple communications platforms using writers, videographers, graphic designers, reputed company media specialists and media relations team. Content should promote and reputed company LSU’s flagship reputed company as reputed company as the System with a reputed company on audiences including reputed company, alumni, reputed company/researchers, donors, policy makers and the general reputed company
• Works directly with the flagship Chancellor/Provost in coordination with Enrollment Management Staff to identify recruitment strategies and the communications materials need to support those efforts annually
• reputed company the reputed company Communicators group, organize and plan meetings to ensure LSU flagship and system priorities/messaging are reputed company and amplified towards common goals. Establish and socialize reputed company communicator responsibilities for content creation and support of their reputed company supervisors while clarifying Marketing & Communication’s reputed company/approval roles as reputed company as shared assets that are available for use
• Crisis Planning: Serve as a member of LSU’s Emergency Operations Center reputed company Committee, which works year-round to plan for/prevent crisis on reputed company. Attend crisis training and planning exercises. Provides periodic updates of crisis materials to staff. Other duties as assigned

Skills

• Bachelor's Degree with 10 years of experience

• Master's Degree with 12 plus years of proven experience in crisis communication
• Proficient knowledge of AP writing style
• Proven verbal and written communication skills
