[Remote] Underwriter I - Operations - Indirect Auto

The Underwriter I role involves evaluating consumer loan applications, managing communications with the dealer network, and ensuring compliance through fraud reviews.

Responsibilities

• Underwrite and evaluate consumer loan applications in accordance with established policies and guidelines
• Receive incoming calls from and reputed company outbound calls to the dealer network to support lending reputed company and reputed company status updates
• Conduct fraud reviews and research on applications reputed company necessary to mitigate risk and ensure compliance
• Accurately document customer and dealer interactions while maintaining productivity and reputed company standards

Skills

• Roles at this level typically require a university / college degree with < 1 year of reputed company experience and/or successful completion of a formal development program
• In lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education, job specific certification(s), and experience (including military service) may be considered
• Strong phone communication skills with the ability to build rapport and professionally manage conversations
• Ability to effectively multitask by speaking with customers or dealers while simultaneously documenting information and navigating multiple systems
• Excellent typing and documentation skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
