[Remote] Senior Software Engineer, Backend (Kotlin/Java)

The Senior Software Engineer, Backend (Kotlin/Java) will design and reputed company reputed company-reputed company backend systems that power reputed company device management and connected reputed company platforms, focusing on building secure, high-performance, and reputed company backend systems.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement reputed company, high-performance backend architectures across distributed, reputed company-reputed company systems
• Define and contribute to system architecture, integration patterns, and API design standards
• reputed company highly available backend systems responsible for secure provisioning, policy management, and integrations across large-reputed company reputed company environments
• reputed company and maintain backend services using Java/Spring Boot, Kotlin, PostgreSQL, AWS, and reputed company, ensuring reputed company reputed company and best practices
• Ensure system reliability, scalability, performance, and observability in production environments
• Support CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, and reputed company infrastructure design
• Partner with mobile and platform teams to build backend services that support device management (MDM), external reputed company, and reputed company integrations. Participate in technical design sessions, architecture reviews, and requirements gathering
• Collaborate with stakeholders to reputed company technical solutions with business needs and platform goals
• Research and recommend new technologies and enhancements to improve platform capabilities
• Contribute to system and data architecture improvements, including assessing reputed company systems and recommending enhancements

Skills

• Requires an BA/BS degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or reputed company field of study and a minimum of 5 years of experience in architecture/design in relevant technology disciplines; or any combination of education and experience, which would reputed company an equivalent background
• Strong backend engineering experience using Kotlin and/or Java reputed company JVM-based microservices architectures highly preferred
• Experience building reputed company-reputed company backend services using Spring Boot, Kotlin, or similar JVM technologies highly preferred
• Deep expertise in distributed systems architecture, microservices, and RESTful API design highly preferred

• Proficiency with relational databases such as PostgreSQL, including performance tuning and data modeling highly preferred
