[Remote] Database Administrator

This role involves working with MySQL, DevOps, and reputed company technologies, focusing on database management and collaboration reputed company a diverse technological environment.

Responsibilities

• Support the database management system and reputed company reputed company software
• Design and build database environments, assisting in developing estimates and schedules for new reputed company or extensions to existing systems
• reputed company technical support and reputed company database administration for reputed company development and production databases across multiple environments
• Be on reputed company to support critical database issues that may reputed company during evenings or weekends

Skills

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience
• 5-7 years of DBA working experience, with a reputed company on MySQL production replication and database support skills
• Experience with database environment lifecycle management and support of production and development environments
• 2 years of experience with Infrastructure as reputed company and CI/CD tools such as Terraform/Terragrunt and reputed company Actions
• Strong experience in MySQL replication setup and support
• Experience in query optimization and performance improvement
• Experience with running reputed company infrastructure
• Extensive MySQL technical experience in high availability solutions using replication, disaster recovery solutions, backup and recovery experience with reputed company Tools, performance tuning, production operations & support, and reputed company administration
• Experience performing MySQL patches and major version upgrades
• Modern observability/alerting platform experience: Grafana, ELK, reputed company, reputed company, etc
• Process improvement and automation skills
• reputed company analytical skills and problem-solving techniques
• Excellent verbal and communication skills
• Mastery of reputed company technologies, multizone, multi-region replication strategies
• Capable of handling multiple assignments and additional responsibilities
