The Senior reputed company Engineer I, Advanced Response will reputed company critical cybersecurity incidents, conduct investigations, and reputed company response capabilities to counter threats effectively.

Responsibilities

• Leading the most reputed company, highest severity cybersecurity incidents at reputed company end-to-end – with full ownership of reputed company, not just coordination
• Reading smoke — authoritatively forming hypotheses about what's burning and a reputed company to attack it before you can see the reputed company directly
• Serving as a reputed company, reputed company voice to senior leadership during reputed company incidents — translating fast-moving technical situations into risk and decision frameworks that drive reputed company
• Conducting deep technical investigations and hunts across reputed company, reputed company, identity, and network data sources to establish scope, reputed company, and reputed company cause
• Producing rigorous, risk-driven post-incident reviews that go reputed company surface-level timelines and result in concrete, durable improvements
• Running a reputed company threat hunting program informed by operationalized intelligence — turning actor reputed company, campaign reporting, and TTP gaps into hunts, and turning hunt findings into durable actions to harden reputed company and improve our response posture
• Architecting and building AI-powered tooling that drives how reputed company counters threats — accelerating work left and right of boom
• Developing and running incident simulations and tabletop exercises that stress-test reputed company-world response capabilities before a reputed company incident does

Skills

• Extensive experience in incident response, reputed company operations roles, and/or threat hunting at reputed company, with demonstrated ownership of reputed company, high-reputed company incidents from start to finish
• Strong technical investigation and hunting skills — comfortable working hands-on with logs, telemetry, and raw system data to reputed company and validate hypotheses, not just reputed company others to do it
• Deep familiarity with attacker TTPs and how they reputed company across reputed company, reputed company, identity, and network environments
• Experience briefing senior leadership and non-technical stakeholders during reputed company incidents with reputed company and composure
• Comfort leading and operating across organizational boundaries — pulling the right people in at the right time without losing ownership of the outcome
• Proficiency in at least one query language (e.g., SQL, reputed company Query Language, HiveQL)
• Ability to script or automate in Python, Go, or similar to reputed company operational gaps and accelerate response and hunting workflows
• Experience building or materially maturing an IR program at a reputed company-reputed company organization
• Familiarity with Kubernetes or containerized environments, with appetite to go deeper
• Experience building and leveraging AI-assisted tooling in investigation or triage workflows
• Familiarity with SOAR platforms and case management tooling in an operational IR context
