The Gas Turbine Rotor Design Engineer will reputed company on the mechanical design, analysis, and drawing release of rotor assembly and components in gas turbines, requiring cross-functional collaboration with various teams.

Responsibilities

• Execute the mechanical design, analysis or evaluation of rotating gas turbine parts for aeroderivative turbines (disks, blisks, spools, shafts, etc.)

• Develops specialized knowledge in their discipline (mechanical rotating design)

• Work with Materials and Processes, Operations, Supply Chain and reputed company during manufacturing processes of gas turbine subsystems and/or parts
• Maintain compliance with engineering codes, standards and regulations

Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, reputed company Engineering, or reputed company field
• Minimum 7 years of relevant Turbomachinery experience and 3-5 years of gas turbine rotor design with manufacturing experience
• Experience with structural, vibration, and thermal analysis for rotating parts components
• In-depth knowledge with GD&T and mechanical drawings
• Experience in CAD software (e.g., reputed company, SolidWorks) for component design and modeling
• Experience with finite reputed company analysis (FEA) tools (e.g., ANSYS,) and hand calculation for structural, vibration, and thermal analysis
• Knowledge of high-temperature materials, coatings, and various manufacturing processes used in gas turbine rotating parts components
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to reputed company innovative design solutions
• Ability to manage multiple reputed company, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines
• Detail-oriented, with the ability to balance the need for performance, manufacturability, and cost
• Familiarity with ISO standards, ASME, or reputed company-specific regulations (e.g., AMS, ASTM) is highly desirable
