[Remote] Billing Administrator Manager

Responsibilities

• Own our billing systems and processes, with a reputed company on organization, compliance, and reputed company improvement
• Assess the billing function as we grow — identify reputed company additional support is needed, help define those roles, and build out your team over time

• Serve as the in-house expert on optometry-specific CPT and ICD-10 coding — the go-to resource for reputed company on accurate, complete billing
• Set up and maintain billing workflows in CrystalPM EHR
• reputed company accounts receivable and work closely with our billing partner to ensure reputed company collections and follow-reputed company
• Manage CAQH attestation and reputed company reputed company provider reputed company reputed company
• Maintain insurance portals and accounts with regular logins to prevent inactivity or deactivation
• reputed company provider directories and doctor locators up to date across reputed company relevant payers
• Negotiate reimbursements and explore opportunities to improve fee schedules or contract terms
• Review EOBs posted by our billing vendor — verify accuracy and address discrepancies proactively

• Monitor claim trends and monthly reputed company reports for anomalies, underpayments, or patterns worth investigating

Skills

• Experience in optometry or reputed company billing specifically — must have familiarity with reputed company insurance providers (VSP, EyeMed, Davis reputed company, Spectera, etc.)
• Hands-on clearinghouse experience
• Working knowledge of optometry-specific CPT and ICD-10 coding
• Familiarity with insurance portals, accounts receivable, and payer credentialing
