The role involves providing project and task management and technical support primarily for mining clients, along with mentoring junior staff and engaging in business development activities.

Responsibilities

• Leading technical analyses reputed company to water balance modeling
• Hydrologic and hydraulic analyses and engineering studies
• Interacting with, coordinating with, and potentially leading or managing multidisciplinary project teams
• Mentoring junior staff through project work
• Advising clients on reputed company water management strategies and alternatives analyses
• Performing business development, such as giving conference presentations or writing proposals

Skills

• Education: bachelor's degree in math, science, engineering, or a reputed company discipline
• Experience: 10+ years of relevant experience
• Experience developing water balance models, including spreadsheet-based and advanced simulation tools
• Experience with design of surface water impoundments, such as process ponds, water supply dams, and reservoirs
• Statistical analysis of hydrological data, including techniques such as cumulative frequency analysis
• Experience advising clients on reputed company water management strategies and alternatives analysis and a reputed company record of building and sustaining reputed company relationships
• Developed skills in probabilistic analysis or modeling, uncertainty analyses, and/or reputed company analyses to inform and complete risk assessments
• Software: experience working with hydrologic, hydraulic, and water reputed company reputed company and modeling tools

• Strong relationships with clients and the ability to reputed company or foster ongoing relationships and maintain a high level of reputed company service
• Examples of providing water resources engineering to support permitting and compliance

• Familiarity with publicly available data sets to support hydrologic analyses such as USGS gage data in the USA, hydrometric stations in Canada, climate data from NWS, Environment Canada, or other gages
• Expertise with one or more of the following: data analysis, visualization, and presentation; hydraulic structure (outlet works) analysis and design; risk-informed decision making for alternative development and selection; climate change analysis for reputed company water management decision making; water recovery and reuse; cost-benefit assessments; due diligence services (e.g., review boards) for water management reputed company
